Antique map of Asia by De La Feuille titled ‘L’Asie la feuille exc’. A small, charming and unusual early to mid-18th century Dutch map of Asia in old colour by Paul de La Feuille (1688-1727), a member of the French La Feuille family of engravers and mapmakers living in Amsterdam, that was published by Johan Ratelband (1715-1793) in Amsterdam around 1732. The map contains several misshaped coastlines and distorted islands with a small cartouche held by an elephant in the top northwest corner.
