Published in London in the year 1747 by the famous Emanuel Bowen in his "A complete system of geography. Being a description of all the countries, islands, cities, chief towns, harbours, lakes, and rivers, mountains, mines, &c. of the known world" .
Emanuel Bowen (1694?–1767) was an English map engraver, who worked for George II of England and Louis XV of France as a geographer. He worked as a map and print seller in London from about 1714, producing some of the best and attractive maps of the century.
